SSL was originally incorporated in 1995 under the jurisdiction of Registrar of Companies (ROC) of Gujarat, India. It has a Certificate of Registration (CoR) from Reserve Bank of India, as is required to be obtained under Section 45IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
